About Surfing The Nations
Surfing The Nations is a brand that is dedicated to making a positive impact on communities around the world through training, selfless service, and action sports. Founded in 1997 by Tom and Cindy Bauer, the brand started with a simple idea of Surfers Giving Back around their kitchen table in Kalihi, Hawaii. Since then, Surfing The Nations has grown organically and continues to equip the next generation to pursue a radical lifestyle of selfless service and meeting needs globally.
The concept of integrating surfing and humanitarian work has been at the core of their mission since the early surf era with founder Tom Bauer. By mobilizing surfers and action sports enthusiasts, Surfing The Nations aims to be leaders of positive change both locally and internationally. Their vision is to impact communities through training, selfless service, and action sports.
With a motto of Live outside the box, Surfing The Nations has opened doors and brought positive change to the action sports world, as well as various areas of life. Through their innovative Thruster Model, which is based on the design of a three fin Thruster surfboard, Surfing The Nations aims to establish seven bases in six regions around the world in the coming years. Their goal is to see the Thruster Model implemented at each of these locations, including Hawaii, California, Sweden, and Sri Lanka.
Tom and Cindy Bauer, the founders, are dedicated to seeing transformation happen in communities globally. Together, they have created a revolutionary movement centered around a mission of selfless service and positive change. Whether they are leading teams to far-off risky places or speaking at various organizations worldwide, their commitment to Surfing The Nations is unwavering.
With their desire to see all ages live inspiring and adventurous lives, Surfing The Nations continues to make a difference through their impactful programs and services
