SURSECO II, Inc., established on September 10, 1979, is a non-profit electric cooperative dedicated to advancing rural electrification in the Philippines. Located in Tandag City, Surigao del Sur, SURSECO II began its operations by taking over the municipal power systems in Tandag, Tago, Marihatag, and Carrascal. With a mission to serve its member-consumers, it now covers 13 municipalities, including areas such as Madrid and Cagwait.

Under the guidance of its initial Board of Directors, SURSECO II has significantly expanded its electrical infrastructure, boasting four substations that ensure reliable power distribution in its service area. Emphasizing the development of alternative energy sources, SURSECO II has achieved 100% electrification, including barangays previously underserved. The cooperative continues to adapt to growing community needs, investing in infrastructure upgrades and expanding its capacity to meet the demands of a booming population and economic growth in the region.
