Suruwat, Friends for Change, is a pioneering agency established in 2007, dedicated to empowering individuals living with HIV and key populations in Nepal. Led by people with firsthand experience, Suruwat promotes self-reliance and dignified living through quality services and community engagement. The organization focuses on providing a wide array of programs, including training sessions, awareness campaigns, and media sensitization, while actively advocating for the rights of people living with HIV (PLHIV).

Suruwat operates a community care center offering residential health care, ART observation, and support in accessing medical facilities. Additionally, the organization provides agro-farming training to help create sustainable income opportunities, enhancing financial independence for PLHIV and their families. With a vision of a stigma-free society, Suruwat strives to raise awareness about HIV prevention and treatment while combating discrimination. Through extensive collaboration with local and international agencies, Suruwat has positively impacted the lives of nearly 1,500 individuals and their families, championing dignity and rights for all.
