The International Festival of Masquerade Games "Surva," held annually in the vibrant city of Pernik, is Europe's largest masquerade festival, drawing participants and spectators alike for a spectacular celebration of culture and tradition. Scheduled for 24–26 January 2025, this captivating event features over 250 performers, including dancers, traditional masqueraders known as "survakar," musicians, and acrobats, all coming together to showcase the rich heritage of masquerade games.
Attendees have the opportunity to actively participate through SMS voting, supporting their favorite groups by sending a text message with the group number to 1915. Each SMS costs 1.00 BGN, exclusive of VAT, making it an engaging way to show support.
