Survivalrun Burgum

Survivalrun Burgum is a community sports club in Burgum, Netherlands, offering an accessible way to experience survival running. Based at the Wetter en Willepark, the club provides a varied outdoor course with obstacles that challenge strength, fitness, flexibility, technique and perseverance. Training combines running with obstacle work and the changing conditions of the outdoors, including water, wind and temperature, throughout the year.

The club runs sessions for children aged 6 to 16 and for older teenagers and adults. Youth training introduces skills in a fun setting, with participants able to work toward bronze, silver and gold certificates. Newcomers can arrange introductory clinic sessions before deciding whether to join: adults can attend three weeks of clinics, while children can try four lessons. Group clinics are also available by arrangement.

Membership is offered at monthly rates for youth and adults, and members also join Stichting Reset Survival and the Survivalrun Bond Nederland. Survivalrun Burgum welcomes visitors to observe training and provides information about sessions, membership, events and club clothing through its website.
