About Suicide Loss Support Group Naples
Founded in 1987, Surviving After a Suicide Loss (S.A.S.) stands as the longest-running suicide survivor support group in Naples, Florida. This peer-run organization offers a compassionate and understanding environment for individuals grappling with the complexities of grief following a suicide. Recognizing the unique challenges that come with suicide loss, S.A.S. provides a safe space where members can share their experiences, receive mutual support, and foster connections with others who truly understand their pain.
The group meets weekly, every Wednesday from 6:30-8:30 PM, offering sessions both in-person and virtually via Zoom and phone. S.A.S. also organizes various events and resources to aid survivors, including Project H.U.G.S., which aids underserved grieving individuals. Open to all adult survivors from Collier and Lee Counties, S.A.S. remains unaffiliated with any religious organization, focusing solely on healing and community support. With a commitment to fostering hope and resilience, S.A.S. strives to help individuals navigate their grief and forge lasting bonds.
