Sutherland Shire Cooking School

Sutherland Shire Cooking School provides cooking-based NDIS support and hands-on food education across the Sutherland Shire and St George in New South Wales. Led by qualified chef Yvonne, the school helps children and adults build kitchen skills, confidence and independence at a pace that suits them. Its support includes cooking and meal assistance, skill building, and in-home help with everyday tasks and community access, aligned with participants’ NDIS goals.

The service supports people with autism and neurodivergence, intellectual, physical and neurological disabilities, and ARFID or other complex eating needs. Alongside individual support, the school runs small seasonal cooking classes and lively demonstrations for schools, councils, shopping centres and community groups. Its activities offer practical opportunities to learn, prepare food and explore new meals in an encouraging setting.
