Fire Door Inspection Scheme

The Fire Door Inspection Scheme (FDIS) offers a comprehensive online educational program designed to enhance knowledge of fire door safety and regulations. The FDIS Diploma consists of a series of modules covering essential topics such as fire door components, inspection principles, and relevant standards for both commercial and residential settings. Key areas of focus include timber and metal fire doors, glazing techniques, seals, and ironmongery essentials.

Ideal for professionals like facilities managers, fire safety experts, and building control officers, the FDIS Diploma provides flexibility, allowing participants to study at their own pace for up to 12 months. Upon completion, learners can take a multiple-choice exam at Pearson Vue centers, with results available immediately. Successful candidates receive a DipFD certification, which paves the way for further professional development through the FDIS Certificated Inspector course, leading to recognition as an approved FDIS Fire Door Inspector.

With a commitment to enhancing fire safety practices, FDIS empowers individuals to ensure compliance and safety in their environments.
