Suzy Williamson Designs is a brand that has been creating handcrafted art jewelry for over 25 years. Suzy's love for metals started during her early job as a dental technician, where she learned metal working fundamentals and crafted teeth out of gold. Her passion for jewelry making further blossomed when she attended a silversmithing workshop in Alaska.

She then honed her skills at Central Oregon Community College and through workshops with renowned metalsmiths. What sets Suzy Williamson Designs apart is the use of metal as a medium, which offers limitless possibilities. Suzy draws inspiration from both the natural and man-made world, as well as her experience in the field of architecture.

Using fabrication techniques, she meticulously handcrafts each piece from metal sheet, wire, and tubing, shaping and soldering elements together. Various techniques such as roll printing, etching, fusing, hammering, and reticulation are employed to incorporate texture into her designs. Suzy's pieces are known for their dimensionality, with hollow and lightweight forms often adorned with stones and pearls as accents.

The goal is to create truly memorable jewelry that speaks to the wearer. Although Suzy previously sold her work at juried art shows, the pandemic led to new opportunities, such as custom work and teaching. As she embarks on new journeys in 2023, Suzy is excited to continue creating contemporary jewelry from her home studio in Bend, Oregon
