SV Gerolsheim

Schützenverein Gerolsheim 1963 e.V. is a community sports club based at the Palmberg in Gerolsheim. Since 1963, it has brought people together through recreational shooting and an active club life, welcoming both experienced participants and newcomers interested in trying the sport. Its offerings include air rifle, pistol and archery, with introductory trial sessions available by arrangement. Regular training takes place on Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m.; other appointments can be arranged with the club. The association also shares safety information and invites prospective members to learn about its activities and membership.

Beyond training, the club organizes events and contributes to local community life. Its calendar includes competitions, volunteer workdays and social gatherings, while past activities have included the annual Easter egg shooting event and participation in Gerolsheim’s community celebrations. The club has also hosted charitable events, including a 2025 benefit shoot that raised €10,000 for the Sterntaler children’s hospice. Located at Am Palmberg, the association offers a welcoming setting for sport, shared experiences and community involvement.
