About SV Volksdorf
SV Volksdorf e.V. is a community shooting club in Meerbeck, in the Schaumburg district of Germany. Founded in 1935, the club brings together sport, tradition and a welcoming social atmosphere. Its facilities, developed over the decades since the club built its own clubhouse in 1967, support shooting with rifles, pistols and bows.
Members and newcomers can take part in regular training sessions for rifle and pistol shooting, as well as seasonal archery practice. The club also offers youth sessions, with trained youth leaders supporting younger participants. Training schedules vary by discipline and season, and visitors are welcome to come by or make a first contact on Fridays from 7 p.m.
Beyond sporting activities, SV Volksdorf encourages members to spend time together in its club room, gather around the outdoor grill in the nearby wooded area, or play boules on the club’s own court. Its activities also include competitions, open days and community events, alongside opportunities to learn about the club’s history and traditions.
