Svart Records

Svart Records is a Finland-based record label and online music retailer, describing itself as “the hardest working vinyl maniacs in Finland.” Its catalog spans a wide range of sounds, including metal, punk, goth rock, jazz, funk, global music, roots, soundtracks, and electronic and experimental releases. The label issues new music and special editions from Finnish and international artists, with recent and featured releases representing acts such as Hanoi Rocks, Spiritus Mortis, Trees of Eternity, Pekka Laine, and Henrik Palm.

Through its webstore, Svart sells vinyl records, CDs, box sets, books, merchandise, and gift cards. Shoppers can browse Svart releases alongside limited editions, test pressings, warehouse finds, last copies, and distributor titles from other labels. The store also offers artist apparel and accessories, including T-shirts and tote bags, and lists both in-stock items and pre-orders. Svart provides worldwide delivery and says lost parcels are replaced, making its store accessible to customers beyond Finland.
