SVDB

Sportvereniging de Broekstreek (SVDB) is a community sports association serving the Broekstreek area. It offers opportunities for people to take part in sport, exercise and social activities in a welcoming, informal setting. Its activities include football, volleyball, a running group and yoga.

The volleyball programme caters to different interests and experience levels. SVDB has a women’s team competing in the NeVoBo promotion class, as well as recreational volleyball for men and women, including three women’s recreational teams. Youth volleyball is also part of the association’s offering. The running group welcomes people who would like to train together in a relaxed atmosphere. Yoga classes take place on Monday evenings, with two groups practising varied styles; prospective participants can enquire about a trial lesson.

SVDB also organises community activities and events, including the annual Pinkster Volleyball Tournament, known as PVT, and takes part in fundraising initiatives such as the Grote Clubactie and Rabo ClubSupport.
