Svenska ESPAnet

Svenska ESPAnet, or the Network for Research on Social Policy and Welfare, is a collaborative platform for researchers dedicated to exploring critical issues surrounding social policy, living standards, and the welfare state in Sweden. This dynamic network comprises members from various academic institutions across the country, primarily focusing on social-related topics. Each autumn, one of the member organizations hosts a conference, promoting dialogue and knowledge-sharing among researchers, practitioners, and students, including events specifically tailored for doctoral candidates.

In 2024, Svenska ESPAnet is set to convene at the Sociologidagarna in Gothenburg, scheduled for March 13-15, providing an exciting opportunity for participants to engage with contemporary social research. The network aims to foster collaboration and stimulate discussions that influence social policy and welfare improvements in Sweden. With a commitment to impactful research, Svenska ESPAnet serves as a critical resource for academics and policymakers alike, striving to enhance understanding and practices in the social sector.
