About Svenska Lottakåren
Svenska Lottakåren is a non-profit, public-interest, and politically independent voluntary defense organization that provides women with concrete opportunities to engage in issues related to personal and societal security, both nationally and internationally. With nearly 100 years of experience, Svenska Lottakåren has been empowering women to make a difference in our collective defense, in both everyday life and crisis situations. As a member, or lotta, you have various opportunities to contribute and make an impact.
Svenska Lottakåren consists of local lottakårer (units) throughout the country, each offering unique activities and initiatives accessible to members. By joining Svenska Lottakåren, you not only gain access to extensive training programs but also become a part of one of Sweden's strongest female networks.
