Segelvereinigung Sinstorf e.V. is a sailing club based at Neuländer See in Hamburg’s Harburg district, offering dinghy sailing and training for children, young people, young adults and adults. Its activities combine practical instruction on the water with opportunities to develop sailing skills, including boat-handling, manoeuvres and sail trim. The club’s fleet includes Optimist, Laser (ILCA), RS Feva, 29er, RS500, RS Vision, Bahia and VB dinghies, as well as motorboats. Recent additions to the fleet support the club’s training, particularly for younger sailors.
Beyond regular sailing, the association brings members together through events such as night sailing, full-moon sailing and youth overnight trips, which can include practical sessions, theory and video review. The club also provides information about its sailing area, access, safety, training groups and ways to participate, including volunteering and supporting the organisation. With a focus on shared experiences and developing sailors of different ages, Segelvereinigung Sinstorf makes sailing accessible to its community on the Neuländer See.
