Svítání Family Centre is a welcoming community space in Nymburk, run by Spolu v Nymburce, z.s. It brings children, parents and other family members together for play, learning and mutual support. The centre hosts open play sessions in its indoor playroom and courtyard, along with activities and clubs for children aged 1.5 to 15. These include sensory and creative workshops, movement classes, robotics and electronics, and tutoring or preparation for entrance exams to an eight-year gymnasium.

Parents can join regular support groups led by professionals such as lactation consultants, doulas and psychologists, as well as talks and seminars with specialists. Community events encourage creative activities, neighbourly connections and intergenerational exchange. Through its “Máma umí…” project, Svítání also supports mothers returning to work.

Families can use childcare, a community clothing exchange, and a lending library focused on parenting and personal development. Practical facilities include changing tables, high chairs, toys and a kitchen. Located on Komenského Street, the centre offers a friendly place to connect, share experiences and enjoy time together.
