The Svoboda Battalions are Ukrainian volunteer military units whose public presence shares their history, current activities, and ways for supporters to help. The organization reports that the Svoboda Battalion defended the Kyiv region and took part in the liberation of Irpin, Bucha, and Hostomel. After Russian forces withdrew from the region, the battalion moved east, where it fought in battles around Rubizhne, Sievierodonetsk, Lysychansk, the outskirts of Horlivka, and Bakhmut.

The website provides information about the battalions, their history, the places where they are currently serving, and the people who have served or died alongside them. Visitors can read news and media coverage, view photographs and videos, and learn about the battalions’ supporters. It also invites volunteers to apply through a recruitment form and encourages financial contributions, including support for current fundraising campaigns addressing urgent needs. Svoboda offers branded merchandise and provides contact details and a newsletter subscription for people who want to stay informed.
