Svorken Water Ski Club is a community sports club founded in 1978 and based at Hjultjønna, about 13 kilometres west of Kvål, Norway. As the country’s northernmost active water-ski club, it welcomes people of all ages and experience levels to enjoy sport and recreation in a scenic setting. Its main activity is water skiing, including slalom, trick skiing and jumping, and visitors can also try wakeboarding or tubing.

Equipment is available to borrow, and the club offers instruction, organised activity days and opportunities for social gatherings. The facility includes a boat, waterski course, dock, barbecue shelter and clubhouse with changing rooms. The season generally runs from May to early October, with regular opening on Tuesdays and Saturdays and other times available by arrangement.

The club also hosts activities for schools and after-school programmes, supported by volunteers and community sponsors. Membership is open to active participants, recreational users and supporters; membership is required for water skiing. Nearby visitors can also swim or explore local walking trails
