Segler-Vereinigung Seeburger See e.V. is a sailing club based at Seeburger See, near Göttingen in the scenic Eichsfeld region. Founded in 1970 to promote sport dinghy sailing, the association combines competitive sailing with opportunities to enjoy the lake at a relaxed pace. Regatta sailing is one of its key activities, and the club organizes races that are generally sailed under the Yardstick system. Its club regattas are open to visiting sailors and their boats, welcoming participants from beyond the membership.

The association also supports new generations of sailors through an active youth group, where children can begin learning to sail at around age eight. Training and instruction include sailing and the inland boating licence, known in German as the SBF Binnen. Members can sail in a peaceful, attractive natural setting, while the club’s activities bring together recreation, skills development, and sporting competition.
