Swans Football is a London-based programme offering women aged 18 to 81 and older the chance to learn, return to, or enjoy playing football in a fun and welcoming environment. Open to all abilities, the sessions require no previous experience and are suitable for women who are new to the game, former players, or those interested in understanding the sport their children play. Qualified coaches lead weekly sessions designed to help participants keep fit, meet friends, and have fun.
Training takes place on weekday evenings at venues across London, including Wimbledon and Raynes Park, Twickenham and Teddington, Richmond and Barnes, Chiswick and Kew, and Kingston and Surbiton. Sessions are arranged in six- or seven-week blocks to fit around the school calendar, avoiding half-terms and school holidays. New players can join at any time, and prospective participants can try a free taster session.
Players should bring comfortable sports kit, suitable footwear for the venue’s playing surface, shin pads, and water.
