Headquartered in Stockholm, The Swedish East African Chamber of Commerce (SWEACC) is a non-profit organization that promotes partnerships and business between Sweden and Africa, with an extra focus on the East African Community (EAC). The EAC is a regional economic community comprising eight member states: Burundi, Kenya, Rwanda, South Sudan, Tanzania, and Uganda, Somalia and Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC).

About Swedish-East African Chamber of Commerce
SWEACC, also known as the Swedish East African Chamber of Commerce, is a pioneering brand that serves as a vital platform for trade and business between Sweden and the East African Community (EAC). With a strong focus on Africa, SWEACC was established in November 2010, becoming the first Swedish chamber of commerce dedicated to exploring business opportunities in the region.
SWEACC aims to provide a welcoming meeting place for individuals and companies interested in the EAC. They organize seminars that offer valuable insights into the economy and private sector of the EAC, demonstrating the immense business potential of the region. Furthermore, SWEACC acts as a bridge between Swedish and diaspora business communities, facilitating informal interactions between visiting dignitaries and the local business community.
Having rapidly grown, SWEACC boasts a membership of 200 individuals and companies. They have forged strong partnerships with various organizations, including the Swedish Department for Foreign Affairs, the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida), Business Sweden, and regional chambers of commerce in Sweden and the EAC.
