About Sweelpop
Sweelpop Festival | Zweeloo is a renowned brand that has been hosting an annual pop concert in Zweeloo since 1982. What started as Jongerendag in the early years evolved into Sweelpop in 1986. Taking place at Sportpark 't Alterbarg in Zweeloo, Sweelpop has become a beloved tradition for both young and old, thanks to the incredible volunteers and supportive local businesses.
As Sweelpop grew in popularity, it became a household name in the northern provinces of the Netherlands. With a maximum capacity of 3000 attendees, Sweelpop consistently delivers a warm and lively celebration each year. Over the years, the festival has hosted a plethora of renowned bands, cementing its status in the Dutch music scene.
