Sweet Silhouette is the hand-cut silhouette business of artist Varin Acevedo, offering a distinctive form of entertainment and a personalized keepsake for special occasions. Varin creates portrait silhouettes at weddings, corporate events, celebrations, fairs, schools, museums, and holiday gatherings. At events, guests can watch the portraits take shape and bring them home, while duplicate cuts can be added to a wedding guest book for guests to sign—a lasting memento for the couple.

The business also sells silhouettes through its website, with single, double, and triple portrait options, as well as wooden oval frames. Customers ordering online can submit a photo, and Sweet Silhouette provides guidance on taking a suitable image, including recommendations for lighting, angle, and the subject’s expression. The service is designed for people and can also accommodate young children and dogs. Based in Ohio for some arts and crafts fairs, Varin is available to travel for event bookings. Sweet Silhouette brings traditional silhouette artistry to gatherings, combining live demonstrations with individually crafted portraits.
