Sweet Berry Farm in Middletown, RI is a delightful destination owned by Jan and Michelle Eckhart. This charming farm encompasses approximately 100 acres of land, with 80 acres dedicated to cultivation. Originally starting as a hobby farm in 1980, Sweet Berry Farm initially focused on growing strawberries and Christmas trees on just a few acres.
Jan and Michelle, with their respective backgrounds in business and fine arts, maintained full-time jobs outside of farming. However, their passion for growing crops grew stronger over time. As their expertise expanded, so did their offerings.
Sweet Berry Farm now features a Pick-Your-Own Market and a Farm Market & Café. Customers can choose from a wide range of farm-fresh produce, delicious cakes, and even enjoy delectable ice cream. To make things more convenient, the farm also offers boat delivery and provisions.
Beyond their delectable products, Sweet Berry Farm also plays host to weddings and events, with preferred vendors available. Additionally, visitors can explore their vibrant blog and learn more about the farm's fascinating journey. Located at 915 Mitchell Lane in Middletown, Sweet Berry Farm welcomes all to experience their farm fresh food and fun.
The farm is open every day from May 12th to Christmas, operating from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. Come and enjoy the abundance of nature, delicious treats, and the heartfelt story of this remarkable farm
