Foundation Sweet Drie is an organization founded in 2019, growing from a project started in 2014 by Dylan, Jordy, and Claudia Rovroy. Working in Indonesia, including Ambon, Batam, Jakarta, and Yogyakarta, it aims to help children with type 1 and type 2 diabetes enjoy active, fulfilling lives. The foundation promotes sport, exercise, and healthy eating, while raising awareness among children and parents about diabetes and the health risks associated with unhealthy lifestyles.
Its message is that diabetes need not control a person’s life when they learn how to manage it, and that movement can be part of everyday wellbeing. Sweet Drie also seeks to prevent type 2 diabetes through education and healthy habits. Looking ahead, the organization hopes to establish sponsorship and adoption support for children with diabetes, enabling access not only to sports and physical activity but also to medical assistance.
The foundation shares updates about its projects and campaigns through its website and social media, and invites supporters to help fund its work
