Sweet Water Education Events Training, created by educator Connie Nye, provides hands-on learning experiences in outdoor, environmental, and watershed education for students, teachers, and community groups. Drawing on decades of teaching, Connie designs playful, engaging programs tailored to each group’s goals and size, from small classes to assemblies of more than 100 participants.
Programs cover watersheds, the water cycle, erosion, runoff pollution, stewardship, insects, astronomy, adaptations, ecosystems, and other nature topics. Sweet Water Works is a grade-level program featuring rotating activity stations and can serve up to 130 children, with volunteer training included. Custom indoor and outdoor classes, teacher training, outdoor engineering activities, and team-building sessions are also available.
The brand offers educational books, including W is for Watershed, Can He Keep It?, Sweet Water Hunt, and titles on astronomy and yoga. These combine stories, poems, terminology, and activities for learners and educators. Sweet Water also sells handmade items such as beach bags, children’s jean jackets, custom jackets and bags, and sweater hats.
