SweFinTech is a non-profit association that aims to gather and empower the Swedish FinTech community to achieve global impact. Led by chairwoman Lena Apler, our organization works closely with decision-makers and authorities to strengthen the conditions for the Swedish FinTech industry. Our main focus areas include enhancing talent supply in the fast-growing FinTech sector. With 93% of our companies needing to recruit new talent, we advocate for educational institutions to meet the demand for tech skills. We also strive to attract international expertise through effective systems for employee stock options and talent visas.

Furthermore, we advocate for the promotion of innovation within the financial system. By engaging with authorities and decision-makers, we aim to foster a better understanding of FinTech as a sector and encourage Finansinspektionen to play a more explicit role in promoting innovation. Additionally, we seek to create a level playing field for FinTech companies by ensuring equal access to the financial infrastructure.
