Southwest Florida Dressage Association (SWFDA) is a community organization based in Fort Myers, Florida, dedicated to promoting dressage and supporting equestrians across Southwest Florida. Its mission is to educate and inspire interest in the discipline, encourage participation, and strengthen dressage’s local profile. The association also promotes sportsmanship and fair competition, provides services for members, and shares information about dressage with horsemen and the general public. It works with the USDF, USEF, and WDAA to encourage involvement in the sport.

SWFDA offers opportunities to take part in dressage schooling shows, clinics, and other equestrian events, with dates listed on its calendar. Members can access downloadable forms, an official scores section, a handbook, and information about the association’s board and volunteer opportunities. The organization also connects members with useful businesses and trainers and helps them share items for sale or sought. Through SWFDA CARES, it supports charitable causes, including initiatives linked to its lunch donation jar, virtual auction, and charity show.
