Swift IM

Swift XMPP Client is a cross-platform messaging application designed to make XMPP communication straightforward while providing access to advanced features. Available for Windows, Mac OS X and Linux, Swift is free to use and is intended for both individual users and large-scale deployments, including environments with strong security requirements. Its features include simple status setting, security label support, keyword and phrase highlighting, and message acknowledgements. Isode offers optional commercial support contracts for Swift.

The Swift ecosystem also includes Swiften and Stroke, software development libraries for building XMPP applications. Swiften is a robust, standards-compliant, high-quality C++ library designed for cross-platform performance. Stroke is a native Java port of Swiften that does not use JNI. Both libraries serve as backend components for Swift and are also used in other commercial and open-source projects. Swiften and Stroke are licensed under the GNU General Public License by default. Together, the client and SDKs provide tools for using and developing XMPP applications across desktop platforms.
