Swim Angels

Swim Angels is a children’s swimming lesson provider in Huddersfield, offering lessons for children aged four and older. Its programme aims to make learning enjoyable while helping each child develop confidence, progress steadily and build good swimming technique. The teaching approach uses guided exploration and games, keeping lessons engaging while making time in the water count: children are not left waiting on the poolside.

Classes are kept small, with five to six children per teacher, and instructors provide in-water support. Swim Angels draws on techniques used internationally, particularly in Australia and the United States, and introduces breaststroke and dolphin kick early to support later learning. Children’s progress is assessed throughout each term and monitored over time.

The provider uses the internationally recognised STA badge and certificate scheme. Its website includes information on children’s and pre-school awards, term dates, lesson prices and booking, as well as details for its location at Salendine Nook School (HD3). Swim Angels also offers a free trial lesson for children.
