Sportpark Leverkusen

Swim-Challenge is a swimming event series presented by Sportpark Leverkusen, bringing participants together for endurance-focused challenges throughout the year. The Swim³ series features three events: Early Bird I in autumn, Early Bird II in spring, and the Swim-Challenge in summer. The listed upcoming dates are November 8, 2026, March 14, 2027, and August 29, 2027.

Rather than competing to complete the greatest number of lengths, participants are challenged to keep swimming and demonstrate stamina and determination. During the badge period, swimmers must move visibly through the water using their own effort and may not hold onto the pool edge. The events include 60-, 90-, and 120-minute swimming challenges, with the longest duration described as an especially demanding goal that is difficult to achieve without training.

The summer finale takes place in the 50-metre outdoor pool at Freibad Wiembachtal. The website provides event information, registration, participant lists, and results. It also notes that participants will be notified by email when event photos become available.
