Swim Manitoba

Swim Natation Manitoba (Swim Manitoba) is the governing body for competitive swimming in Manitoba, supporting a province-wide community of swimmers, coaches, officials and clubs. Its vision is to elevate Manitoba swimming to international recognition through leadership, collaboration and partnerships. The organization offers structured programs grounded in Long-Term Athlete Development, welcoming participants at different stages and abilities. Age-group pathways begin with sport initiation and foundational skills, then progress to technique, conditioning, competitive experience and peak performance. Masters swimming serves adults aged 18 and older, offering coached opportunities to improve fitness and technique, compete, and pursue fun, participation and personal achievement. Para-swimming provides opportunities from grassroots to elite levels for people with physical, visual or intellectual impairments.

Swim Manitoba also supports the sport through officials’ clinics, competitions, an event calendar, and resources for clubs and coaches. It tracks and promotes athlete records, rankings and results, and shares news, scholarships and annual awards. Safe Sport resources help communities foster healthy, supportive and respectful sporting experiences free from harassment and abuse.
