Swimming Cool

Swimming Cool is a Montpellier-based association offering aquatic activities for children and adults. Founded in 1991, it is a nonprofit association affiliated with the Union Française des Centres de Vacances and approved by the Agence Nationale des Chèques-Vacances. The organisation also provides professional training, welcoming three to four swimming instructors each year for training through the regional youth and sports authority.

From September to June, activities take place in therapeutic pools heated to 32°C, with additional courses available during school holidays. Programmes include baby swimming, helping infants explore the water safely; swimming lessons for beginners and more experienced swimmers; and group aquagym classes for fitness in a low-impact aquatic setting. Swimming Cool also offers activities for pregnant women and supports children with water-related fears, people with phobias, and participants with physical or intellectual disabilities.

With a focus on safety, welcoming instruction and professional guidance, Swimming Cool provides a range of ways for people of different ages and abilities to gain confidence, learn to swim and stay active in the water.
