Swimming Lessons at Mylor is a swim teaching service based in Mylor in the Adelaide Hills, South Australia. Led by an AUSTSWIM-qualified instructor with more than 15 years of experience, the service teaches swimmers of all ages and abilities, covering a range of strokes. Lessons are tailored to each swimmer’s confidence and skill level, with small classes limited to four participants.
Children can start from age four, and mixed-age, mixed-ability classes allow siblings to attend together or in back-to-back sessions. Group lessons run during terms one and four, Tuesday to Thursday from 4 pm to 6 pm, at $22 per half-hour lesson. Private adult lessons are also available by appointment for people who feel rusty, nervous, unfit or awkward in the water, as well as those who want to improve their swimming; these cost $88 per half hour.
Lessons take place in a solar-heated outdoor pool using salt and mineral chlorination, described as gentle on eyes and skin
