Swimming Snake is a fishing-lure brand focused on an unconventional bait designed to attract bass. Its flagship Swimming Snake lure is described as the world’s first “revolver-class” bait, using a proprietary hook and head design with a low-drag, double high-speed swivel. As it is pulled through the water, the lure rotates to imitate the appearance of a swimming snake. The brand says this action can prompt bass to strike because of territorial behavior as well as feeding.
Swimming Snake is offered in colors including Watermelon Red, Holy Ghost White, Black Magic, June Bug, Pumpkin Seed, Black Grape, and Black Moccasin. The website provides videos and rigging techniques to help anglers learn how the lure works, and offers purchasing information and a dealer directory. The brand also mentions planned related products: BabySnake, a smaller version intended for panfish such as bream, red-bellies, bluegills, and specks, and SupaSnake, a larger version aimed at bass. Anglers can contact the company with feedback and join a pre-order list.
