Swim Tribe AU is a Melbourne-based open-water swimming community platform designed to bring swimmers together across Port Phillip Bay and beyond. Planned for launch in summer 2026/27, it aims to help people find local swim groups, discover community swims, and connect with other swimmers, from first-time dippers to experienced and ultra-distance participants.

The platform brings practical swim-planning information into one place, including local conditions, tides, wind, weather, water temperature, safety alerts, swim locations, routes, and distances. Users will be able to explore active swims and join or create community swim events, with clear route details and an inclusive approach intended to help participants know what to expect before entering the water.

Swim Tribe AU emphasizes welcoming, all-level participation, shared wellbeing, and real-world connection rather than performance rankings, personal records, or influencer culture. It describes community and safety as central to the experience, with no premium tier for belonging. The service is presented as a way to spend less time searching across apps and messages, and more time swimming together.
