The Swiss Data Cube is a collaborative initiative that brings Earth observation data and analysis tools together to help users understand how Switzerland’s landscapes and environment change over time. Its platform provides analysis-ready satellite data, reducing the preparation needed to work with observations and support environmental monitoring. The data and products include imagery from missions such as Landsat and Sentinel-2, with Landsat 9 data also available.

The initiative develops and shares data products, visualizations, research, and project outputs that demonstrate applications of the cube, including glacier change, snow cover, vegetation greenness, and air pollution. Through time-series analysis and other Earth observation approaches, the Swiss Data Cube aims to provide useful insights for informed decision-making across the country. Its resources are intended to benefit policymakers and public officials, as well as businesses and entrepreneurs seeking to improve commercial efficiency.
