About SwissFoundations
SwissFoundations is the leading association of charitable foundations in Switzerland, established in 2001 as a joint initiative of foundations. With over 13,000 nonprofit foundations and a total endowment of approximately CHF 100 billion, Switzerland holds a prominent position globally in terms of its foundation landscape. SwissFoundations connects foundations thematically through working groups and roundtable discussions, providing platforms for practical exchange of experiences and addressing current issues.
These collaborative spaces are exclusively open to member foundations. Furthermore, SwissFoundations, in partnership with its members and partners, develops standards and practical tools for the establishment and management of nonprofit foundations in Switzerland.
