Swissveg ist die grösste Interessenvertretung vegetarisch und vegan lebender Menschen in der Schweiz. Seit 1993 setzen wir uns mit positiver Öffentlichkeitsarbeit dafür ein, den Fleischkonsum dauerhaft zu senken und eine pflanzenbasierte, verantwortungsbewusste Lebensweise als attraktive und gesunde Alternative allen Menschen zugänglich zu machen und zu fördern. Swissveg zeichnet sich durch fundierte Informationen aus und hat sich als führende Anlaufstelle für alle Fragen rund um einen pflanzlichen Lebensstil etabliert. So engagieren wir uns: - Swissveg berät die Nahrungsmittelindustrie und Grossverteiler, hält Vorträge und veröffentlicht die Zeitschrift «Veg-Info». - Mit dem V-Label, dem bekanntesten Label seiner Art, zertifizieren wir seit 1996 in der Schweiz hergestellte Produkte als vegan und vegetarisch. Das V-Label kennzeichnet sowohl Lebensmittel als auch diverse Non-Food-Produkte eindeutig als vegan/vegetarisch aus und berücksichtigt dabei alle Produktions- und Verarbeitungsschritte. Bis heute sind von uns und unseren internationalen Partnerorganisationen über 50'000 Produkte geprüft und mit dem V-Label zertifiziert worden. - Wir informieren über wichtige News und Entwicklungen in den Bereichen Tier- und Umweltschutz sowie Gesundheit mit Bezug auf eine pflanzliche Lebensweise.
