Seeway Tanzania, also known as SW Tz, is a non-governmental organization dedicated to bringing hope to a new generation by providing support and care for orphans and vulnerable children in northern Tanzania. Founded in 2004 by Rebecca Jackson and Wendy Kelley, the organization has been making a significant impact since its establishment. SW Tz operates various programs to address the needs of the community.

Their Childcare program offers a family-style residential center for vulnerable children, as well as a home-sponsorship program for children who can live with family but are still in vulnerable situations. Additionally, they run a community nursery school, staffed by trained Tanzanian teachers, and provide support to vulnerable families by helping them improve their economic capacity and health. Since partnering with the UK charity Seeway Trust, SW Tz has been able to manage sponsorships and donations effectively.

The acronym SW Tz stands for Saidia Watoto, meaning Help Children in Swahili, reflecting their commitment to making a difference in Tanzania. With a predominantly young population, Tanzania faces its fair share of challenges. SW Tz recognizes this, and that's why they exist – to support the most vulnerable children and empower them to overcome adversity
