Scouthike is an exciting annual hiking event organized for approximately 1,000 scouts, taking place in a beautiful State Forest every May. Designed to foster teamwork and skills among participants, Scouthike involves navigating through various activity bases, where patrols earn points based on their performance and collaboration. Each patrol engages in a range of outdoor activities, from rock climbing and canyoning to bushwalking and canoeing, promoting both fun and fitness in nature.

During the event, scouts camp overnight and prepare their own meals, ensuring they are equipped with lightweight gear and nutritious foods for their adventure. Safety is a top priority, with experienced leaders supervising sleep points and activity bases, ensuring a secure environment for all participants. Scouthike is open to registered scouts, leaders, and adult helpers, making it an inclusive event that encourages camaraderie and personal growth while celebrating the spirit of scouting. With competitive awards for top-performing patrols, every scout finishes feeling accomplished and ready for their next adventure.
