SYDNEY SAWYER MD

Sydney Sawyer, MD, provides developmental and behavioral pediatric care for children, teens, and families in the San Francisco Bay Area. Guided by curiosity, compassion, and connection, the practice takes a whole-family approach, recognizing how a child’s well-being is shaped by relationships and environments. Dr. Sawyer works collaboratively with parents to understand each child’s strengths and challenges and develop an individualized, practical plan.

Services include developmental and behavioral evaluations, assessment and diagnosis of developmental delays, ADHD, and autism spectrum disorders, and support for concerns such as emotional dysregulation, frequent meltdowns, sleep difficulties, and toilet-training resistance. The practice also offers guidance for school behavior, peer and family relationships, and ongoing power struggles. Additional care includes parent coaching and strategies, recommendations about therapies and supports, and thoughtful medication management for ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, and anxiety or depression in tweens and teens. When helpful, Dr. Sawyer may collaborate with educators and therapists. Appointments are available in person and by telehealth, with care offered at an office in Mill Valley, California.
