Sylvesterjogging is a community sporting event that brings Wielsbeke together to end the year on an active and welcoming note. Open to participants of all ages and abilities, the event combines running, walking and social activities, whether visitors come to compete or simply enjoy the atmosphere. The 13th edition is scheduled for Sunday, 27 December 2026, with registration opening on 1 November.
Runners can choose from 5 km, 10 km and 15 km routes through the centre of Wielsbeke, while younger participants can take part in the Kidsrun, with distances of 300, 600 or 900 metres. Walkers can select the 6 km UNILIN Family Walk or the 12.5 km UNILIN Long Walk. After the sporting activities, attendees can relax at the afterparty and enjoy food trucks.
For this edition, Sylvesterjogging moves to Sportaculair Wielsbeke at Tumulusstraat 1, where the start, finish, registration and other activities will be located. The event also donates its full proceeds each year to two charitable causes.
