Syros Cats is a compassionate initiative dedicated to the welfare of stray cats on Syros Island. Founded by a dedicated group of volunteers, the organization operates several feeding stations throughout the island to provide essential nourishment and fresh water for local feline populations, especially during the scorching summer months. The feeding stations, which include notable locations like The Mermaid and Henry’s Wall, serve as safe havens where strays can gather and receive daily care.

In addition to the feeding programs, Syros Cats collaborates with We Live Together, an affordable neutering clinic, to promote animal welfare through responsible population control. The organization also focuses on the health of the cats, offering veterinary care, dental treatments, and necessary medical attention for sick or injured strays. Visitors are encouraged to support their efforts by donating food or contributing to sponsorship programs. Through community involvement and support, Syros Cats strives to improve the lives of its beloved feline residents.
