Systema Nederland offers instruction in Systema Kadochnikov, a Russian military combat technique focused on applying biomechanical principles to movement and self-defence. Led by Chief Instructor Maxim Pipotja, who studied directly with the style’s founder, General Aleksey Kadochnikov, the organisation teaches students to use energy efficiently and develop intuitive responses. Training explores principles such as leverage, spirals, mass and gravity, with the aim of building body memory and enabling effective, spontaneous defence or counterattacks using minimal energy.

Systema is presented as a practical discipline rather than a sport: classes have no competition, grading system or specialised uniform, reflecting the motto “No Sport. No Rules.” Maxim and nine instructors lead relaxed sessions that make room for explanation, discussion and humour, with learning described as mutual between instructors and students. Systema Nederland holds classes in Amersfoort on Fridays and in Almere on Wednesdays, and welcomes newcomers with a free trial lesson. The organisation also provides information about its approach, fees, frequently asked questions and contact details.
