Systema Kadian

Systema Kadian shares and teaches Systema, a Russian martial art presented by instructor Jérôme Kadian. Rather than relying on a fixed catalogue of techniques, this adaptable approach emphasizes core principles, intuition and improvisation, helping practitioners respond to varied positions and situations. Training may include defense against one or several attackers, armed threats and ground scenarios, with exercises conducted alongside partners of different builds and abilities. The practice also incorporates breathing, physical conditioning and relaxation to develop resilience, flexibility, stress management and self-control—skills intended to be useful beyond physical confrontations.

The teaching methodology is based on Systema Talanov. Kadian has studied and taught martial arts for decades and offers seminars and instructor training in France and internationally, for both professionals and members of the public, including people with no martial arts experience. He also provides workplace sessions focused on self-defense, stress management and relaxation. While collective classes are not currently offered, online courses in breathing, strengthening and stress management are available.
