Syvde IL

Syvde IL is a local sports club serving the Syvde community through sporting activities, outdoor recreation and events for residents of different ages. Its programme includes children’s sports, family swimming sessions and opportunities to take part in walking, hiking and skiing. The club also maintains and promotes local outdoor routes and facilities, including the ski area at Øverberg.

A central part of Syvde IL’s work is Fjelltrimmen, a seasonal mountain-walking challenge featuring marked posts, participation results and awards. The club organises group hikes and celebrations for participants. It also hosts Blåfelden Rett Opp, a hill-climb event with separate recreational and competition classes, and has organised Øverbergrondå. News, event information, results, photographs and archive material are shared through the club’s website.

Run by volunteers and supported by community involvement, Syvde IL brings people together through sport, exercise and local events. The club invites people to become members and take part in its activities, helping strengthen connections with the surrounding mountains and outdoor environment.
