Szechenyi Baths is a historic thermal bath complex in Budapest’s City Park, housed in a Neo-Baroque palace built for bathing and opened in 1913. Often described as one of Europe’s largest spa baths, it features 18 pools, including 15 indoor baths and three outdoor pools, alongside saunas and steam rooms. Its natural hot spring waters and long bathing tradition make it a destination for relaxation, swimming and wellness.
Visitors can arrange weekday or weekend admission, fast-track entry and tickets with cabin access. Additional experiences include beer baths, massages, facial treatments, guided tours and access to the Palm House relaxation area through selected packages. Some packages also offer towel and bathrobe rental, slippers, refreshments or a cocktail. The venue hosts evening bath parties, combining its historic setting with music and entertainment. Online information covers opening hours, facilities, dress requirements and visitor guidance. Guests must generally be at least 14; younger children may visit with a valid medical certificate.
