Szent Vitus

Szent Vitus Foundation is a Hungarian nonprofit organization that supports people with disabilities, their families, and institutions caring for them across the country. With around fifteen years of activity and the trust of more than 50,000 supporters, the foundation provides assistance tailored to individual needs and circumstances. Its support includes medicines, medical and assistive equipment, food, cleaning supplies, firewood, school materials, and sports equipment. For institutions, it helps fund renovations, equipment purchases, holidays, and events.

The foundation works with healthcare and educational organizations, encourages creative participation and community inclusion for people with disabilities, and promotes inclusive education, particularly for children with complex disabilities. It also gives special attention to supporting and developing autistic children. In Nagykőrös, it established a traffic-safety park where visiting groups can take part in ongoing instruction. The foundation also plans awareness-raising work addressing bullying, including verbal abuse online and offline. Supporters can contribute financially, including through SimplePay, or donate useful goods such as clothing, food, medical equipment, and medicines.
